During the Clinton Administration he was telling Clinton that deficits were TOO high and Clinton needed to raise taxes, but when Bush got in he seemed to have NO objection to cutting taxes. Agreed. He did keep his mouth shut no matter what bad thing Bush did. He was RIGHT THERE when all these LIAR LOANS started coming out but I don't remember him making any BIG speeches about the possible consequences. Frankly, I don't think he knew. Who knew were the bank VPs, the underwriters, the processors and the appraisers.........and none of them were talking.
