HAL and the rest of the Bush/Cheney circle wanted to be in on the inside circle of who was to be in charge of getting Iraqi oil out to the world.

So why didn't they? Why didn't they even try? Or are you going to claim they stole Iraq's oil secretly?

First of all, they did benefit immensely from Iraq. As for the oil, I don't think they expected to get thwarted by the Kurds and to have the world watching so closely.

First they were foiled by the Kurds who had their own plans and then they were foiled by Baghdad.

When were they foiled? How?

Apparently, you have a short memory. Much of the oil is in Kurdestan. The Kurds took control of those fields right away much to the annoyance of Baghdad.

When Baghdad tried to award some service contracts to western companies (not HAL) and Congress insisted they be canceled?

Yes, that's one example. Another is the non competitive bid contracts.

Nonetheless, they still made serious coin on the Iraqi war

If you mean by fulfilling their service contracts - driving trucks, serving food, etc - so what.

LOL. Did you not see the huge profits they made off those contracts?

and Mr. Bush will be taken care for the rest of his life by the grateful.

Bush doesn't need to be taken care of. This is just fantasy.

That was after his daddy got the investors to buy into the Rangers.

There's no sign his father got anyone to do anything. I'm sure his name helped but none that his father pulled strings. Again, you're just making it up.

Stay in your fantasy world.....I wouldn't want you to have to deal with reality.

Did Obama not benefit from his elite prep school education?

Yes, he did. Obama came from nothing to make something of himself. And it shows.

He went to an elite prep school just like Bush. Obviously Obama's grandparents strived to give him advantages.

Oh no....not nearly as elite as Bush's nor was it wired into the wealthy of the east coast like Bush's was. You go to Bush's prep school....its not a matter of if you go to an Ivy League university when you graduate but rather which Ivy League school will you pick to attend.
