>>I have a beef with dirty tricks -- changing credit card rates retroactively, universal default, that sort of thing.<<

1. don't forget loose monetary policy in order to blow up bubbles so bankers could $100s of billions in bonuses that weren't there otherwise...

2. trillion dollar criminal fraud - selling sh*t for gold and shorting the gold.

3. dumping trillions in eventual losses onto the tax payer - that would be you!

>>But I have no sympathy for a person who racks up debt believing in the tooth fairy bringing them a free lunch of entitlement sandwiches.<<

agreed. 100%. but that doesn't mean the criminal policies of bankers that criminally leveraged this irresponsibility are all of a sudden unaccountable for their CRIMES, does it?

>>There are drug dealers everywhere in my city, yet I somehow manage not to get addicted.<<

me too. but i still want the drug dealers off the street instead of running the police, no?

if the drug dealers ran the police, objecting and trying to put them in jail consistent with reasonable justice, no?

or should we blame the drug users and let the drug dealers run the police?

>>Like you said, "Society today is stupid." Remember who you are talking about before you blame the banks for everything.<<

i'm not blaming for them for *everything*. i'm blaming them for their CRIMES.

what's the problem with that stance?

btw, i think there should be some penalty for the irresponsible, even criminal participants. but i want the drug cartel in prison before the 12 year old drug user.

don't you?
