It's sad and informative to see you throwing a man who has EARNED a reputation (one that you could never even hope to match) as one of the leading intellectual thinkers of our time in the areas of philosophy and religion, under the bus. The level of disrespect and insult leveled against him for simply disagreeing with the atheistic herd mentality and following the "EVIDENCE" where it leads is breathtaking. That says far more about you than it ever will about him. I simply used him as an example of someone (from your own camp) who recognized that there is indeed evidence for a god and who was not so closed minded as to deny that it even exists. In doing just that (denial) you have shown yourself to be the very essence of the closed mindedness that you pretend to such offense with. Free thinker, MY ASS!

As to your definition of Deism as "an impersonal universal intelligence"; that is a complete Straw Man. Aside from the fact that it is strange to even imagine an impersonal intelligence in the first place, your definition is not what a Deist believes.

As for Dawkins: Richard Dawkins knows less about philosophy and religion than a high school dropout. He is an embarrassment and a hack: you should be embarrassed to even mention him. This is yet further proof of your desperate attempts to deny the obvious.
