Yes, it does. As I pointed out upstream, I don't think it's an essential element of the job of an ER doc, which was longnshort's premise. I don't know what abortion pills have to do with ER work other than perhaps the occasional rape victim, in which case it should be easy enough to work around one's doctor's objection. So the premise is bogus, seems to me.

Nonetheless, I took the premise for the sake of argument to point out the disconnect and "hypocrisy" on both sides.

There are other complexities in the argument that I didn't bring up for the sake of simplicity. Smoke in bars and dispensing abortion pills have in common that they are both demands for workplace re-engineering to accommodate the employee but they have other aspects and relevant differences..
