>>I think the search results speak for themselves.<<

But they don't, Fubho. They tell us only that the number of links in the results changed over time. They don't tell us what links were dropped, or what the content of those links might have been. You have made what appears to be a completely unfounded assumption, which is that the dropped links must have been disagreeable to some "lefty looney" viewpoint, and that they were dropped for that reason. How do we know that the dropped links didn't represent the left wing viewpoint?

Do you believe Google employees followed each of several million links to determine what viewpoints were being expressed on the sites they linked to, and excluded millions of them based on their own political leanings? In two weeks? How many employees do they have in that department?

I think it's much more likely that there was a tremendous amount of duplication in the early results, and that as Google's search algorithms weeded through the raw results, de-duplication reduced the number. That's a logical theory, based on what I know about how their engines work.

All you're offering is, "This is what I think, and the results prove it." But you're not offering any evidence to back that up.
