I know. I've seen them crater the chances of some moderate GOP members. It's really bad news for the GOP. They've decided to go for ideological purity over a bigger tent. That will have consequences for their national viability. It doesn't actually make me happy, though, because that means the Dems will have more freedom to indulge in whims of the fringe left within of their own party. That is going to be a bad thing for this country. Right now, we're in a wild pendulum swing from far right with Bush/Cheney, to left of center with Obama/Biden, but if the GOP implodes, then I can see the Dems taking the party much further left. I don't want that.
