22B a year is a year is approx. 100 mil a day deployed. You must do an amazing number or round trips per day.

2008 was an amazing year for trade volume. I probably averaged 10-15,000 transactions per day that year. My most active day was 10/10/08, when I had 51,470 executed orders, totaling 11.7 million shares. This works out to 2.2 executed orders per second for the entire trading day.

Those were memorable times, with crazy volatility and volume. Now, I probably average 20% of my 2008 trading volume and that number is declining. It's sad to say, but I think the best trading environment of our lifetimes are now behind us.
