Z, every socialist society has the ruling class and the working class. Union leaders consider themselves part of the ruling class. They got there via good old fashioned politics, kissing ass ... and worse.

Private enterprise has just as much of a role in American success as government-funded services. But private enterprise is what makes American culture unique. It's the key to American success.

If you want to destroy private enterprise by telling me, "We're a fucking society Tench and we're all in this together," you would be no different than Hugo Chavez. We all belong to the state. We owe the state our livelihoods, our possessions, and our right to pursue happiness.

That's the kind of reasoning you are using to defend your socialist beliefs. Socialism has a long record of failure, particularly because it ignores the real key to prosperous, generous societies. And that is the human motivation to prosper, succeed, and take care of themselves and their neighbor.
