Both of the dominant Parties of the 20th. Century have worked LONG and HARD to raise a high ring-fence around what they consider to be "their" political preserve though.

They (and the Courts) have made it nearly impossible for any new Party to ever even get on the ballot... let alone gain strength through it's new ideas and new vision.

And their Gerrymandering has made the political game safe for them.

So... consider me skeptical.

It will take much more then we have seen to kill off the Republi-Crat monopoly on power.
