Because, there's a massive emergency just a few miles away and your water, your food and your medical teams could make a huge difference. It's an emergency, not some business as usual event. There has been an earthquake and hundreds of thousands of people are in desperate condition needing assistance.

The people who paid for the trip should get re-embursed. I'll bet most of them would be glad to help.
