This RELIGION thing has been going on for about as long as seminal beings have been on the planet. And WHAT makes you think that atheists DON'T have their beliefs and arguments formed by a "common rationalism". Atheists beliefs may not be "common" but they are CERTAINLY "rational". These "Christian" guys are like the "Taliban" guys. If you don't believe what THEY do then they'll KILL YA. Nobody is saying you can't HAVE your superstitions. But, when you try to foist it on everybody else you become more and more like the Taliban.
