You KNOW the Dems are going to cheat. They will vote the graveyards in Southie. Both sides are lawyered up. I don't think they can cheat if it's not close. By now (knock wood!) I don't expect it to be close; the enthusiasm gap is palpable. The bellwethers (three blue-collar towns) went for Brown by about 15% in yesterday's poll. People are writing in saying they see Brown signs displayed in Brookline. That's like seeing Bush signs in Berkeley; it's just unthinkable under normal circumstances. The Dems picked the absolute wrong time to run an entitled tin-eared unpopular schoolmarm of a machine hack. She would have won in 2008. Not today.
