Such discussions tend to become emotional and seldom convince anyone. Personally, I can't imagine any big banksters being so evil as to intentionally cause economic devastation, unemployment and suffering for millions of people. If indeed they were so evil, why would they want to ruin an economy which makes them rich? And ultimately, it's hard to keep even very small "conspiracies" secret - as any divorce lawyer could testify. Very big covert operations (like government employees staging WTC -- or bankers taking down the economy) would simply not stand a chance.

Even an outfit as secretive as al Qaeda, consisting of people who are ready to give their lives at any moment, apparently had leaks.

That said, everyone of us, thankfully, is (still?) free to profess any beliefs he chooses...
