You should just ignore that thread. The joke is tasteless, and cruel, but why would you care? The folks there are old- and unlikely to change. The younger generation is much more accepting, look to them- and ignore the old fossilized relics. Be glad you aren't one yourself, and try to ignore them.

Notice how these two can deplore the "attitude", tasteless, and cruelty of a joke at Keith Olbermann's expense but don't notice the cruelty and tastelessness of Keith Olbermann?

But these two, like the rest of the thread, are just old fossilized relics resistant to change. Haven't had a new idea since the early '70's.
