Betty, Ibexx, Greg, and thread,

According to WSJ Interactive news database as of Oct 31st, South Korea's LG Semicon Co. raises its production of newly developed Rambus dynamic random access memory (DRAM) chips to 1 million units per month from 200,000 units, due to rising demand abroad. That's a 5 times ramp-up.

"The new 18-mega Rambus DRAM, said to be the fastest in sending and
reading data in the world, will be mainly used in graphic cards in computers. The company expects the latest developed chips to control over 50% of the global graphic memory chip market by 2000".

Regards,
