I will tell you that I've had personal experience with these tickets. Yeah, it's maddening. An officer reviews the ticket so it sounds official. They don't know who's driving the car. Ticket comes from another state/subcontractor that takes a cut. I didn't even open the first one, didn't knoww what it was.. Call for a hearing date and there aren't any available. Don't pay the ticket and they threaten to turn you over to a collection agency. Ruin your credit rating of all things. Class action lawsuits have the municipality holding the 500 grand they have made off one speed van in less than a year in case they have to pay it back. Now they added a red light camera.

They've all but said they need the money to run city hall and pay salaries and big pensions. But say it's for safety. lol
