She lost by 4+ points. Hardly a repudiation of anything.

That would be true if the race was in Florida or Ohio. But in MA, it is a swing of 31% from D to R.

Obama carried MA with 62% of vote to Marcia's 47% that's -15%
Brown went from McCain's 36% to 52% +16%
