I saw that on Nightline last night and just got disgusted. Doesn't ABC have anything better to do than dig up some obscure Bible reference on rifle scopes? I'd be concerned if it was a Koran reference. It's like the Easter eggs Microsoft used to plant in their source codes. Type in a certain string and get a surprise. Most GIs have no clue that a Bible verse is built into the serial number. They needed a zoom lens to bring it up, otherwise you couldn't see it.
