Obama is doing a lot of things that most on the left do not like. Two great examples are continue wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and his continual compromise on what is now a completely watered down health care bill. He governs from the center left. But his constituents want a much further left lurch.

You are a far right neocon, so it would be impossible for you to see this through those lenses. Everyone looks like a lefty to you from your perspective. I'd say Obama is to the left of Clinton, but he's still to the right of Pelosi and the hard core Democrats, which is why he's in trouble with his base.
