Don't count on it. Palin is a small tent person. She's as far right as Pelosi is left. The problem for Palin is that there simply aren't as many far right people as there are far left people. And with immigration and birth statistics being what they are, the left is apt to continue to grown.

I'd give up on this Palin fantasy. A much more likely superstar is Scott Brown. From everything I've read, he looks like a center-right candidate who is already attracting huge numbers of Independents. He's doing exactly what Obama did, campaign-wise. Let's see how he shakes out. He's one to watch for sure. I wonder if he has the ambition to shoot higher than US Senate?
