"Intelligent people do not pretend that this (rational scientific) world view is "Truth"--or even that "Truth" is ultimately a valid concept." "...make the reasoned observation that there is no evidence for any..."

If you want to throw science and reason under the bus then you can't turn around with the next breath and use observation and reason to prove anything at all. That would include the existence or no-existence of anything! I won't argue whether your Atheism actually a form of hard agnosticism that only comes out at night. The claim that "there is not one iota of evidence" for any god, is simply, and obviously wrong. You have been doing your usual (brainy-bully) song and dance routine to distract the readers from seeing that, but you have failed.

<<<Newton's laws of motion are something that we can apply to the expanding universe.>>>

"Well...go ahead and apply them!"

That's exactly what Cosmologists have done. I won't do what you did and post three pages of equations that you don't have a clue about. Suffice it to say they have done their homework and the observational evidence is there. youtube.com
The physical universe can be traced back to a singularity, and unless that singularity is self existent and eternal, a causal agent outside of space and time itself is needed to put the universe in motion. That causal agent is either Personal or impersonal. A Personal cause is far more likely since the universe contains persons. That's a lot more than an iota of evidence but it's all I need to show that your claim fails and fails miserably

"It is possible to logically deduce the existence of a god, THEREFORE police work is possible."

I didn't say that, and one would expect a little more from a super duper genius than that kind of sloppy thinking. What is common to both endeavors is the ability to make reasoned observations from what is known to deductively conclude what is not known. Actually one can use both deductive and inductive reasoning for both endeavors.

"I mention my IQ TO YOU every couple of years.."

You need to, because your arguments are so staggeringly poor that one would never guess your IQ from what they read.

What's your IQ Mr Simpson? "D'oh! It's Su-per!"
