I'm all for that. I wish the GOP had offered an decent alternative in the first place, instead of the "don't get sick" plans they offered. One thing the Dems are correct on is that if we don't cut health care costs, then our deficits will continue to soar. So not fixing it is not an option for anyone who claims to be a fiscal conservative. I'd say the same thing about Social Security needing to be privatized and tagged to our SS #s, but I don't think the American people are ready to hear that message yet until we're bankrupt because of it.
