Paul, was your reference injectable only drugs into oral form? Is that company Emisphere (EMIS)? I just sold my Sept $12.50 calls yesterday. I thought I was just going to have to kiss those options goodby. Talk about a company that would drive you nuts, EMIS. Great concept, a zillion projects, failing partners, falling stock price, and now success for one drug maybe. They were going to turn all injectables into orals overnight, fat chance. I bought that dog at $12, watched it go to $1.25 where I loaded up enough to make some money at $8. Great trading if your stomach can stand it, but now too spooky for me. My point? All these biotechs have an interesting story and great ideas, but it takes a lot of hard work and luck to be successful. Also, after you "fry" your investors, the memory remains a long time. |
