Who is Major Tony Parker? You've out-esoteric'ed me on that one. I took the line about emptiness and hopelessness straight out of Revolutionary Road, although I did come up with "the corner of." Kathy Bates' nephew threw the line back to DiCaprio when they told him they weren't going to Paris. "Nice and comfy here in emptiness and hopelessness, are you," he said. The Big Fan was pretty good, but not great. Perhaps some Giants fans would enjoy it more than I did even though it did make sports' fans all look like a bunch of sickos. It wasn't as good as King of Comedy with DeNiro and Jerry Lewis and Sandra Bernhard although it was essentially about the same thing. It did remind how beautiful Central Jersey and Staten Island are however.
