Maybe I'm crazy here, but to me, intelligence isn't the most important thing about presidential qualifications. There are plenty of really smart people who have absolutely no common sense when it comes to politics and governing.

I care about whether Sarah Palin believes in a small government. I care about whether she believes in real common sense economics. I care if she believes in national security. And I care if she is strong enough to fight for what she believes in.

And she has proven herself in all of those areas as the Governor of Alaska.

All that being said, I don't think that Sarah Palin is unintelligent, I think her intelligence has been honed for the environment she has lived in.

And if brilliance gets us more Obamas, I'll take an average person with common sense.
