Thanks! We both closed the positions in the AM. Message 26262571 If the stock doesn't make much movement, then the puts or calls are squeezed by the earnings event volatility premium. GOOG's 5% movement is difficult to call whether the puts could be a gainer. Certainly deep ITM puts would have the volatility implosion impact lessened. Then again, who knows where it will wind up in the AM when the option contracts begin trading again. All the more reason why these plays should not be considered for anything other than wild speculation with money you're prepared to see halved or more. I did put in a bid to buy back the same COF puts at 12:50PM PST but it did not fill.
