NB Digital Solutions In Joint Venture with Mill Reef Entertainment to
Produce Pioneering Hybrid DVD Entertainment Title
CROFTON, Md.--(ENTERTAINMENT WIRE)--Nov. 3, 1997--NB Digital Solutions (NBDS) and Mill Reef
Entertainment announced Monday that they are co-producing the first hybrid DVD title that will be fully compatible with all
DVD-Video players and DVD-ROM drives worldwide.
Scheduled for release in mid-December, the new entertainment title, called EARTHLIGHT, features stunning,
never-before-seen NASA video of the Earth taken from hundreds of miles in space and six channels of Dolby Digital
Surround Sound instrumental music.
"We're excited about EARTHLIGHT because, as a hybrid disk, it bridges the gap between consumer DVD-movie players

To complement the leisurely mood of the video, EARTHLIGHT features 80 minutes of original six-channel instrumental music
by composer Ryan Shore, whose recent credits include work on the movies "The Game" and "Cop Land."
EARTHLIGHT uses NBDS' new SceneSaver software to add screen saver functionality to DVD content. Cleared for
worldwide distribution, the disk also offers interactive features in eight languages, a bonus collection of high-resolution still
images and a Web link for product add-ons.
