My god, this kind of analysis feels like trying to ascertain policy by who sits closest to the Premier at the latest meeting of the Supreme Soviet.

We know a couple things:

1) The Fed and Treasury have a long, verifiable record of trying to spend their way out of difficulties.

2) For at least 30 years, our presidents have obfuscated more often than they have been honest about policy goals.

Let's check back in a month or two and see what 'advisor' is in favor then.
