25 states have run out of funds and been forced to borrow from the federal government, raise taxes or cut benefits.

And to think that they are paying out that money and receiving no labor in return.

I wonder how many of those unemployed would be immediately rehired if their unemployment benefits were, instead, applied as a subsidy to the salary they received from their former employer?
