Putting all the Bookings and Billings data together in 1 table since 1991 is shown in the table below. Since all of the data is now in for 2009 a better comparison can be made with all of the other years.

At the bottom line the 09 results can be compared to all the other years. Note that the Bookings number for 09 only exceeds the Bookings numbers for 91, 92 and 93. Another "bottom line" is shown which has been adjusted for inflation using government numbers for inflation for each of the years from 1991. In other words, this line shows constant dollars referenced to 1991 dollars. This line shows that the amount of Bookings for 09 of 3838M(an extremely low number) was lower than all years back to 01 of 3578M. Billings shows the same kind of performance. The 4340 of 09 Billings is lower except for the years 91 and 92.
