I'm confused by the use of the term "no brainer" for a stock that isn't showing any signs of technical strength.

While a case can be made that the stock is fundimentally sound (if you want to bother making such a case), there is no indication that the recent slide has reachd a bottom.

Use of the brain (TA) would indicate waiting until the stock has shown some strength and a few others have reached the conclusion that there is value to be had.

Buying only because it cheap, without looking at the trend is short term risky. I'd rather miss the bottom and join when the mood is more to my tastes.
