I guess that the longer the procedings last, the more billable hours will accumulate for the defence lawyers. They win no matter what happens. As someone has mused previously, surely there must be a stage where the legal fees will start to rival the licencing royalties for the Freeney patent. I would be interested to know approximately how much E-data is levying for licencing fees for different companies, but as far as I have been able to discern, all companies involved have been keeping tight lipped about the figures. If anyone knows different, I'm sure we'd all like to hear about it. Durro
