In the latest analysis among, China is likely to become the 2nd largest economy this year, surpassing Japan, and then go one to surpass the US in 2020. What are we doing to compete economically with China?

But why shouldn't they be the largest economy? They have four times the population of the US.

What I find fascinating is that Germany, which is much smaller than either the US or China, is the largest exporter of products, dollar wise, in the world.
