The people who own the corporations are already capable of "speaking"- allowing the corporation to "speak" gives the advantaged a double voice.

I don't see a big problem with a double voice on a practical level (which isn't the same thing as on principle). The head of an incorporated pig farm may have one POV as an individual and another POV as a pig farmer (commonly depicted as multiple hats rather than voices). They may or may not be the same voice or even compatible. I don't see any huge problem with letting him speak once in each capacity. The problem comes when the pig farm is rich enough to drown out the voices of individuals including his own individual voice. If the pig farm corporation gets to contribute the same amount as the individual, your "double voice," it doesn't have that big an impact. It's only when double turns into some big, fat exponential number due to the deep pockets of big corporations that it's a practical problem.
