Apparently she didn't mean to get pregnant. When something happens to you that you did not intend that usually means you made a mistake- like not wearing a condom or using birth control when you have sex but didn't want to get pregnant. This "problem", of unintended pregnancy, could also have been averted by not having sex. So that's the mistake- getting pregnant when you didn't mean to. If you check out all the news on the pregnancy you will find it was an "unintended" pregnancy.
