The corruption is there because we do not have public financing of campaigns.

As long as the rich can hire a zillion lobbyists and give huge amounts to politicians we will have corruption.

For 40 years the dems have tried to get public financing of campigns and the Republicans always stop it.

So skinny and fatty is not quite corrct. There is a differnce in the two parties.
