We need a lot of things. We don't have confidence in the justice system, education, welfare, or societal renewal at large. We don't have confidence for good reason, these systems are in dire need of reform and the current genre of politicians are ill prepared to bring such reforms about. Partisanism, PACs, and Lobbyists are not the medium for reform, they are staunchly devoted to the stagnancy of status quo. Ask anyone and they will tell you, "Well of course you can't trust politicians, they all lie, duh?" When I say, "I require more, and I find that characterisation to be unacceptable," I get eye rolls and smirks in response. ... So be it.
