Our gini coefficient is 40.8, equal to some Rummy countries like Turkmenistan. The higher it goes, the rummier we become. That was a result of tax cuts for the rich. So, some socialism is indeed a welcome change.
That is in defence of Obamba's policies. Don't worry, he will not abolish a capitalist society. I think the market worried too much about that back in 2008, but the promised "change" came to pass, and there is actually no change from traditional democratic policies. GS of course was betting on Hillary, but Obama did not turn very different from what she would do. They have a party agenda, this health care stuff, etc. Bush actually introduced prescription care to Medicare, so not that Republicans are very different.
A two-party system to control the masses, with NO change.
