So the special interests want us to get our fiscal house in order without touching taxes or spending, wonderful idea. Our system lacks the capacity to address major problems in any meaningful way. I'm starting to think that most of the melodrama inside the Beltway is just political whacking off, lots of excitement and noise with no lasting result.
