Just to follow up on my earlier post, I bought the Dell Studio 17 with 6GB RAM. So far, it has performed flawlessly. I'm currently streaming a stock quote program, a Netflix video and a MIRC chat, only using half the physical RAM. The display is top-notch, and the button layout very usable. If it has any component faults in the future, I'll post here again.
