You and I would never agree on anything. So it would be a waste of time. But to put a time bomb like prop 13 in the constituion like that was beyond stupid.

When I grew up in California it had the best educational system in the world. Starting with Raygun (who tried to destroy the university of California at Berkeley) and exacerbated by prop 13, California's educational system is crumbling and it is a shame.

UC Berkeley stayed one of the top universities in the world despite Rayguns effots to destroy it because the professors toughed it out and kept it top notch.

Koan, > PROP 13 is an unfair and stupid tax exemption.

The ones who benefit the most from Prop. 13 are the middle class citizens of California.

I could discuss the pros and cons of property taxes if you really feel like having an honest and intelligent discussion. I actually think Prop. 13 should be phased out. But it's not for the same reasons you want it repealed.
