Chips ??? ? Betyourass...<<Wanna bet,...>> Ididididididid but so here is the meat of Chucks IPM link (in case someone didn't clicl-didn'tclick ):
<<...The difficulty facing the short position is two fold. First, the company has a small share float; secondly, IPM has had a continual increase in institutional holdings since the beginning of the year. There were 18 U.S. institutions at last count including such names as The Midas Fund and Capital Guardian. Capital Guardian announced this spring that they owned 12% of the shares. The number of institutions registered outside the U.S. is not known but does include T.Hoare & co., one of England's prestigious funds.

With a growing number of investors, news letter writers reporting positively and mutual funds acquiring positions, an explosive backdrop has been put in place for the very near future when the company announces the results of a verification study undertaken by the internationally recognized engineering firms: Behre Dolbear and Bateman Engineering. This chain of custody is in its last phase. Concentrates from samples that were taken and processed independently by BD and Bateman have been sent to an undisclosed, industry recognized lab, selected by the two engineering firms for final analysis.

This transformation will likely change the mining industry forever.>>
