Kerm

I've neglected my oil and gas stocks to a certain extent partly because of the holidays and partly because I've concentrated
more on the natural resource side.
I follow may of the stocks you do and read with interest your postings.
Abacan broke through resistance on Friday (it had been bumping up against $7.40 cdn for a week).
I still like Talisman very much partly because of their rescent North
Sea aquisitions but mostly for their huge gas fields in Northeast B.C..
I think natural gas has been left behind and will soon move up to catch up with the oil price increases.
I also like Upton but that's on the oil side. It took two months to
get my money from Sunalta and I'm looking for a gas producer to replace it.
I've watched with interest Canadian 88 Energy's latest discoveries near Waterton National Park.
Driving around the province this summer I noticed a good amount of drilling activity.
I also like Ranger Oil, I talk with someone working there and he's buying his own company stock.
There was an article in the Financial Post this morning describing
Ranger as a takeover target by Gulf Canada.
Just a few of my thought's.
I hope you had a nice holiday in Ottawa.

John
