While just about every private business in CA lays off workers, CA government kept on growing and growing. CA citizens pay some of the highest taxes and have to endure a piss-poor business climate. It is always cheaper to employ people outside of CA. Most here call it the "sunshine tax" but these days it's gone to ridiculous levels thanks to the left-wingers in Sacramento. CA is trying to wage a one-state war against global warming. But when it comes to illegal immigration, Ah-nuld says, "Oh that's a federal problem." All of these factors are happening NOW.
