I'm questioning it because I don't think it's a good idea, for a number of reasons. The two main reasons are that I don't think it will result in lower prices for insurance, and I think it would actually make billing more complicated for healthcare providers. I'm perfectly happy to entertain ideas about pretty much anything, regardless of the source. A good idea is a good idea. If the Republicans come up with some, I'll be among the first to climb aboard their bandwagon. At this point, that seems only slightly less likely than the Democrats coming up with any.
