Just an item to add to takeover speculation: This is from a report dated Oct. 20 on Apple Recon for Investors ( see the whole thing for yourself at: geocities.com "...it looks as if someone probably is; or Ascend is in talks with a company regarding Ascend's acquisition or merger. RFI has learned that Morgan Stanley was in the process of listing an Ascend issue on the American Stock Exchange when it was abruptly cancelled Wednesday night. There were no problems with the issue as the issue was priced, all of the buyers were lined up and ready to go, all that was needed was to go ahead with the listing. Which brings to mind why was the Ascend issue cancelled without cause?" Again, remember that this was dated Oct. 20, but in any case, hmmmmmm.... good trading, jeff
