"I'm fighting for you" does not mean "I'm fighting for you". When he forces Reid to kick Lieberman out of his committee assignments, when he makes Landreu and Nelson and Conrad and Baucus pass a public option or lose military bases and the SPR and a few other things (like vote for my bill or I'll use the Black Hills for a bombing range), he'll be fighting. Now, he's gonna gum everybody to death. I'm starting to think he has few convictions beyond "If you want to get along, go along."
