Technical Analysis after close 10/3/97: Chart pattern continues to show bullish potential. Today the stock came within 3/16ths of closing Thursday's gap opening and then closed on the day's high, again with good volume. This should bode well for tomorrow's open. Something to keep in mind when wondering about the slow progress as the stock approached $3. On the first three trading sessions of September, the 2nd, 3rd and 4th an aggregate of some 1.8 million shares traded between 2.75 and 4.06. When the stock dropped back under $2 and rebuilt a new base, it may have left a large number of longs looking for an opportunity to get out even or with a small loss. As much as some of you may want to believe that all of the recent trading in this stock has been by either cartel members, sympathizers or MM's shorting and walking the stock up and down, what ever that means, rest assured that lurkers, real day traders and soes bandits hop on board all kinds of trading opportunities. Some of these individuals seem to be attracted to highly speculative trades sort of like the moths to the flames. I hope no one really gets burned. Good luck to all. TLW
