Z, > There are a handful, and ACORN has tens of thousands of employees.

Six or seven documented incidents is more than a "handful." At a certain point, you have to ask yourself whether ACORN is willfully looking the other way, especially given the exposure.

Plus I don't see any evidence that ACORN wants to clean up their act. That to me is more evidence that they knew and gave tacit approval. They're just sorry they got caught.

> I'm actually OK with that. It's one thing if that woman hadn't lived in the house... She knew the consequences and ACORN knew the consequences, but it's a nonviolent protest.

Creative non-violence is meant to appeal to the human conscience. The strength of the underlying message is key. Without the message, it just turns into anarchy.

Therefore you have to ask yourself how the woman was wronged and whether her home was indeed taken from her unfairly. ACORN of course will tell her that she's a victim of "predatory lending," but I don't buy that argument at all. In fact, I would go further and accuse ACORN of taking advantage of this woman's plight, all for their own agenda.
